From Chat to Delegation
The book's practical guide to using Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot at work. I'm writing it now, and it will be published here.
The book explains how the models work and what you can hand over to them. The guide tells you where to start, with the tool in front of you: each stage has you do one thing on real work, a text you have to send anyway or a document of your own, and points you to the page of the book that explains why it works.
Claude · ChatGPT · Copilot
What it will cover
Four levels, from the first request in a chat to work handed over in full. Each stage has three boxes, one for Claude, one for ChatGPT and one for Copilot: you read only the one for the tool you use.
Level 1
Chat
A request done well, a document of your own read and challenged, checking the answers, a finished piece of work you would deliver.
Level 2
Inside the apps
AI inside Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint, and what changes compared with a chat: comments turned into tracked changes, formulas and charts, slides from a document.
Level 3
The context that stays
Memory, standing instructions, projects, and when a new chat beats a project.
Level 4
Tools and delegation
Research on sources you choose, connected data, transcribed meetings, the model working on the files on your computer, tasks that come back on their own every week.
Why it lives online, not in the book
It ages fast. The book is rewritten once a year, while menu names, the features included in free plans and prices change within weeks. Here every instruction will carry the date I checked it, and it will be corrected when the tool changes.
Help me shape it
The guide is built on readers' questions. The Italian edition comes first, with the English version after it. If there is something you would want it to cover, write to me: francesco.masera@librovivoia.it.
I'll let you know when it's out
The English posts go out on Substack. Subscribe there and you will hear when the guide is out.
Subscribe on SubstackIn the meantime, the book
When the interface changes, the book is the part that lets you manage on your own: what happens inside the tool when you ask it something, what it remembers, where it goes wrong.
